Co-Owner of M&M Studios, Inc, started his art career in Washington
State at the age of 12, under his mentor Edna Welch studying pastel
techniques. Then at age 17 he attended Eastern Washington State
Collage as an art major. Mike moved to South Florida in 1972 &
began studying at the Lighthouse Gallery for the Arts, under Richard
Frizzell, known for his watercolors of the tropics & South
Florida. In 1983 Mike established M&M STUDIOS, a
custom
framing business &
art
gallery. He is still in business today offering unique &
original designs along with the expansion of the
Giclee
printing department.
Now at age 65 & looking toward retirement, Mike has been honing
his photography skills into a mixture of fine art & photography
using the Giclee process.
